On Sunday, October 11th, 2026, we expect hundreds of walkers to cross 30.54 miles of Rhode Island on foot, in memory of two peers lost to gun violence. We are a student-run, volunteer operation with no budget of our own, and we get across the state on the generosity of people along the route.
Request sponsorship informationFour ways to help, in rough order of how much difference they make on the day.
Restaurants, cafés, markets and food trucks
Several hundred people walking thirty miles get very hungry. Any business along the route able to donate or discount snacks, meals or drinks would help a lot of grateful walkers.
Charter and school bus operators
Every walker has to get from Providence to the starting line on the Connecticut border early on the morning of the walk. Donated or discounted bus capacity would help cover the single largest logistical cost we carry.
Businesses, community groups and individuals
Direct funding goes straight to this year's gun violence prevention fundraiser or covers food and transport for walkers. Tell us which you would prefer and we will make sure it goes there.
Anyone with an idea
First aid supplies, water stations, printing, rain ponchos, a warm room at the finish. If you have an idea that would help several hundred people cross a state on foot, we would love to hear about it.
We are putting together our 2026 sponsor group now. Check back soon for our first sponsors!
Tell us what you have in mind! We will answer every email.
All donations go directly to a group of gun violence prevention nonprofits, through our Pledge fundraiser. Across our first four walks we raised over $16,000, all of it passed straight through to charity. Organizers cover their own costs.
